Aitch. B one of "The Original Funki Dreds" has been a member of the world famous SOUL II SOUL.
As one of the original SOUL II SOUL sound system crew, he attained the knowledge and developed his skills as a DJ. His experience and reputation was further enhanced by being a major player at the time which almost single handily gained the UK dance music scene it's initial worldwide mainstream exposure, in the late eighties.
From the "blues and warehouse" parties, to the birth of the "Original Rare Groove" scene, to the ground breaking Africa Centre on Sunday nights and then the legendary Friday nights at The Fridge, Brixton, Aitch was there on the cutting edge playing tunes that really mattered, further establishing him as a well known and respected figure in London's expanding club scene.
As SOUL II SOUL the band stormed into the National Charts and began to spread their happy face, thumping base for loving race philosophy world-wide, Aitch employed his lyrical writing abilities and penned the lyrics for "Get A Life" as well as other tracks on the various Soul II Soul albums and projects.
During this period he gained numerous opportunities and experience DJ-ing in all corners of the globe. Including various countries such as Japan, Australia, USA, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Cyprus & Greece as well as many major cities in the UK.
Aitch is capable of playing; the latest R&B, Soul and Hip Hop, the connoisseur sounds of 70's & 80's Classic Soul, Funk, Disco & Motown. He is also capable of playing funky, soulful, vocal garage and disco house sounds and if it's really necessary he can throw in some Commercial Chart music & Party Classics

Dependant on the promoters'/ night's requirements, you'll either get a specific type of music for the whole set or a set that will contain a mixture of different styles he plays.
In today's club scene there are not many DJs with the ability, ingenuity and integrity to competently play such a wide and varied cross-section of dance music.
