Initially raised on a diet of Electro, Seventies Funk, and Hip Hop - DJ Wylie's interest in music started early on. The release of early records by artists such as Public Enemy and Boogie Down Productions were inspirational, ensuring his continued fascination with music. His uncompromising style on the turntables has seen this DJ's career develop from strength to strength. Wylie sees his role as the DJ to educate as well as entertain! He has been DJing for almost eight years. The journey started whilst at University in Manchester (...incidentally this clever DJ has 2 degrees!). Throughout this period, Wylie DJ'ed on radio and at virtually every music venue in Manchester. The highlight was DJing alongside Grand Master Flash at the legendary Hacienda club in 1998. Wylie has also promoted and DJ'ed at numerous concert and record company promo events in Manchester including the official closing party for 'Euro 96' Football Championships.

In London, Wylie has been the resident DJ at one of the UK's best established weekly R&B and Garage nights - 'Cookies & Cream' (Scala Nightclub) since it started over five years ago. Celebrities in attendance have included Busta Rhymes, Lennox Lewis, Richard Blackwood and Lemar. He is also the resident DJ at both 'Trinity' (The Glasshouse) in London, as well as Manchester's number one student night - 'I Luv RnB' (Manchester University). Wylie recently DJed at the A-list celebrity attended GQ Awards show, at the Royal Opera House in London. Guests included Elton John, George Michael, Ozzy & Sharon Osbourne and supermodel Heidi Klum. He was also chosen to DJ at the 2004 official MOBO Awards after-party and fashion show. Previously, Wylie DJed at the MOBO Awards Press launch party at Tantra (London).

He continues to DJ throughout the UK alongside many of the countries top R&B and Hip Hop DJ's. Recent highlights have included bookings at M-Two Club (Manchester), BabyGrand (Manchester), Evissa (Newcastle), Club Aqua (Middlesbrough), Leeds University (Leeds), Baltica (Wales), Hatfield University (Hatfield), Route (Colchester), Vision Nightclub (Slough), Ministry of Sound (London), Yacht Club (London), Tiger Tiger (London), Nells (London), Elysium (London), Kensington Roof Gardens (London) and Embassy Club (London).

In terms of radio, Wylie's DJing skills can now be heard across the airwaves of the entire UK on the Galaxy FM Network. Wylie is the resident Mix DJ on the double MOBO Award winning Steve Sutherland's number one rated, two hour networked Urban radio show, every Saturday evening, 9-11pm. Previously Wylie hosted a weekly two hour upfront R&B and Hip Hop radio show on 'London's Heavyweight - Passion 91.8 FM' for almost two years. In 1998 he was also fortunate enough host a two hour mix show - 'Giving It Up' - on KISS 100FM (London).

Last year saw Wylie co-mix the commercially released, first ever Prince's Trust Urban Music Festival CD (Warner Music Records).

Recognition of Wylie's DJing skills has taken him around the world - DJing throughout Europe and as far a field as Asia (Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia) and also, most recently, Africa (Lagos - Nigeria). Last summer alone saw Wylie travel to six European locations including Ibiza (DJing at the Worlds largest Night Club - 'Privilege'), Corfu and Athens.
